Instrument Training
Signal's Instrument Rating curriculum is is quite sophisticated and includes many advantages not available in other programs.  Our late model aircraft are equipped with IFR certified GPS systems and digital autopilots capable of coupled approaches to decision altitude on precision approaches.  Click here for a detailed list of our training aircraft's' installed equipment.

Our FAA approved Flight Training Device is used for many lessons, reducing training costs considerably.   

The ground portion of our instrument course utilizes Cessna's training materials with a home-study format on a series of DVD's.  Students complete academic lessons at home on a computer. The flying portion of the curriculum coordinates closely with the ground portion.

Advanced Pilot Operations
Signal now offers several short courses designed to make pilots comfortable with specific aircraft operations and more complex avionics and instrumentation. Course descriptions are now available on line and each course is scheduled at your convenience.
